 I want coffee, not bells and whistles
This is the sixth Mr. Coffee machine I've utilized my very-lengthy tenure of drinking coffee. This "cheap" machine makes coffee, not something frothy, fancy or special. I don't need a timer or a clock. I don't need bells and whistles to make a cup of coffee. (Well, five cups of coffee, but who's counting?) This machine is easy to use. It works. It's sturdy. I like the design. The coffee is hot. The filters are easy to find. Not much more to say, which is perfect to me. If you need some fancy concoction, this is not the machine for you. If you need something fabulous on your countertop, keep looking. If you want hot coffee from a standard looking coffee maker, this will definitely suffice.

 Great Coffee Maker
Have used this for a year now and have had no problems. Works great. Easy to set the auto-brew so you have coffee waiting for you in the mornings. After a few months I start to notice it starts to brew a little less than the amount I choose. (For example if I choose 6 cups it might only brew 5.5 cups). At this point I know I need to clean it, which is very easy to do. Just mix even parts water and vinegar and run it through the machine. I usually run 2 full reservoirs of this mixture through it. The limescale comes right out. After cleaning just run some clean water through and you are good to go. Highly recommend this. Just bought another one for my daughter as she heads to college next year.

 Fits small spaces
I don't know why I waited so long to make this purchase. It is super easy to use, even if you're not very gadget savvy. Everything comes apart for easy cleaning. Coffee made in the carafe stays hot for a very long time, which is super amazing as there is no burner underneath. This is the best coffee pot I ever bought and I bought 2 of these. One as a Xmas gift for my niece and her hubby last year and this one for myself. Buy it, you won't regret it. Ninja has remade my morning ritual.

 Awesome coffeemaker made even more awesome!
This is my second coffeemaker of the exact same model. I think my last one was maybe five years or so and it still works, but I think the heating element is on the wane, and I like my coffee piping hot. I love that Cuisinart modified the carafe spout because I somehow nearly always spilled coffee on the second cup, I guess pouring it too fast. They also turned down the volume a lot on the brew cycle done alert. It used to nearly deafen me if I happened to be in the kitchen when it went off, now you can still hear it, but it’s much quieter. I also definitely wanted the pod feature in case I want a cup of coffee later in the day. Really glad I stuck with Cuisinart and the same model, and highly recommend this to coffee lovers everywhere.

 HOT coffee in a very basic unit
Husband wanted a new coffee maker with less "techy stuff" so I bought this. It was the least amount of buttons on a medium size unit. Husband loves it. Says the only thing to remember if I use it for heating tea or hot cocoa water is it's HOT. Much hotter than his last pot, and that is a good thing. He no longer has to microwave a fresh cup of coffee to get it hot enough. And he's really happy with the lack of "bells and whistles" he just wanted to add coffee and water and push the button. No clock or timer or other extra stuff, and this was perfect.
